LCE, Where Ideas Take Flight.
HEAD OF OPERATIONS
LUMS CENTRE FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP
During the past two years, our team has undergone an important transition from
the IGNITE-funded National Incubation Center (NIC) Lahore to the LUMS Centre
for Entrepreneurship (LCE). While this shift marked a change in structure, it did
not alter our core commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship, innovation, and
impact.
This publication is therefore intended to capture the essence of our journey and re昀氀ect the breadth of work we have undertaken
over the years. It includes major milestones and representative initiatives, in addition to showcasing a selection of start-ups
that re昀氀ect the diversity of our portfolio, some commercially successful, others addressing pressing social challenges. In
these pages, we’ve also acknowledged the invaluable role played by our partners from the corporate and donor sectors, whose
collaboration has enabled us to deepen our work across multiple verticals.
A central theme of this report is our close relationship with LUMS. As the university’s entrepreneurship arm, we have had the
privilege of serving a large number of students, sta昀昀, and faculty members, supporting them in their entrepreneurial ambitions
and research-driven initiatives.
Beyond the LUMS campus, we are proud to carry the LUMS banner further a昀椀eld. We currently manage two additional IGNITEfunded initiatives: NIC Quetta at BUITEMS, and the Centre of Excellence for Gaming and Animation (CEGA) in partnership with
HUM TV at NASTP Lahore and NED Karachi, where we lead the learning and development components.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the LUMS leadership for their continued support, the broader LUMS community
for placing their trust in us, our dedicated team for their tireless e昀昀orts, and our MarComms team for bringing this publication
together. I hope you enjoy reading this report as much as we have enjoyed doing this exciting and meaningful work.
