‘PITCH PERFECT PITCHATHON’, FLAT 6 LABS
LCE’s partnership with Flat6Labs Abu Dhabi focused on hosting the ‘Pitch Perfect’ pitching competition for Pakistani start-up
founders. Flat6Labs is the MENA region’s leading seed and early-stage venture capital 昀椀rm, currently running the most renowned
start-up programmess through their multiple accelerators across the region. Annually, Flat6Labs invests in more than 100
innovative and technology-driven start-ups.
By participating in the Pitchathon, start-up founders got a chance to win a sponsored trip to Abu Dhabi to participate in Flat6Lab
UAE’s highly sought-after bootcamp training. The winning team, Aabshar, also got the opportunity to compete for a ‘Golden Ticket’
while in Abu Dhabi, to be fast-tracked to the F6L Ignite Bootcamp, their four-month accelerator programme.
Aabshar, a clean-tech focused start-up tackling the global issue of water scarcity with an innovative plug-in mist nozzle, was
chosen amongst the top 15 start-ups from across Pakistan who participated in the ‘Pitch Perfect: Flat6Labs x NICL: Road to
Abu Dhabi’ pitchathon.
Speaking about the experience, Ali shared,
“ The start-up boot camp o昀昀ered an immersive and enriching experience designed
to empower founders with the knowledge and connections essential for start-up success. The comprehensive programme
encompassed a diverse range of topics, including 昀椀nance, legal, sales, and investment, equipping us with the tools to navigate the
complexities of the business world.
The boot camp’s global reach was evident in the diverse representation of start-ups from countries spanning continents, including
Canada, the USA, Morocco, Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and India. This geographical diversity made for a dynamic exchange

Entrepreneurship

establish
the
Denovonet
Emerging
Technologies Lab, a dedicated initiative aimed at advancing
innovation in IoT and emerging technologies. Leveraging
Denovonet’s expertise in data-driven arti昀椀cial intelligence and
machine learning solutions, the Lab provides start-ups and
students with access to mentorship, o昀케ce hours, expert-led sessions, and industry connectivity. Through this partnership, startups bene昀椀t from practical exposure, skill development opportunities, and pathways to internships, strengthening the bridge
between academic learning, technological innovation, and real-world industry applications.
