DESIGN THINKING TRAINING, FEROZSONS LABORATORIES
LCE actively works with corporate partners to promote ‘intrapreneurship’ - helping organisations with their teams’
professional development through customised trainings that helps build their entrepreneurial muscle. These targeted
training courses focus on soft skills development such as creative thinking, brand ideation, breaking outdated thinking
patterns, and developing connections between entrepreneurship, business development, and everyday functional tasks.
LCE collaborated with Ferozsons Laboratories Limited, a leading pharmaceutical company in Pakistan, to develop a ‘design
thinking’ workshop for their employees. The overall objective of the Design Thinking workshop was to help Ferozsons improve their
approaches to strategising and developing new tools for problem solving and creative thinking.
Re昀氀ecting on the experience, Osman Khalid Waheed, CEO of Ferozsons Laboratories Limited, shared,
“ The LUMS LCE Design
Thinking course helped our teams better visualize the patient journey in a particular disease area, and to understand the pain
points faced by the patient on their road to recovery. The course provided frameworks and a common language across teams
that emphasised patient-centric, innovative thinking, and helped the team strengthen their communication and branding e昀昀orts.
This improved how the team conceptualises and implements branding strategies that resonate e昀昀ectively with patients and

ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING,
INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS OF PAKISTAN
The 5-week, in-person training programme conducted with ICAP was designed to equip accountants with entrepreneurial
skills, helping them integrate technology, manage risk, build strong personal brands, and master e昀昀ective communication. The
programme included around 30 hours of engagement through interactive workshops, case studies, and hands-on sessions.
To ensure ICAP members remain agile and continue to have a growth-mindset, both ICAP and LCE collaborated to design a
curriculum that could build the capacity of soft skills such as interpersonal communication, expanding and diversifying professional
career paths, and attuning them to the start-up and entrepreneurship ecosystem, including becoming investors and mentors who
can support start-ups beyond just the numbers.
