LCE, Where Ideas Take Flight.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP 101 (E101)
This is LCE’s pre-incubation programme designed to make entrepreneurship accessible to individuals from diverse
backgrounds by providing foundational knowledge, structure, and practical frameworks. Developed by Saarland University,
Germany, and contextualised for Pakistan, E101 supports participants at the very beginning of their entrepreneurial journey,
whether they are exploring an idea for the 昀椀rst time or seeking to validate an early concept. Delivered once a year, the
programme equips participants with the tools to understand markets, re昀椀ne problem–solution thinking, and con昀椀dently
take their 昀椀rst steps toward building a venture, while fostering a collaborative learning environment that encourages peer
exchange and informed experimentation.
INVESTOR
TRAINING PROGRAMME
Recognizing a gap in early-stage and seed funding in
Pakistan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, LCE designed the
Investor Eductation Training to attract and prepare high-networth individuals interested in supporting the next generation
of innovators. The initiative began with an Investor Roundtable
that brought together investors, founders, and legal experts
for a candid dialogue on early-stage fundraising, featuring
insights from Naeem Zafar (Concordia Ventures), Hashim Ali
(Muawin), and Saddam Pasha (AUC Law).
Building on this exchange, LCE launched its inaugural
Investor Education Training, led by Muhammad Ali Tau昀椀q
(VP Investments, Gobi Partners) and Barrister Ahmed Uzair
(Partner, AUC Law), which focused on investment evaluation,
昀椀nancial strategy, legal frameworks, and term sheets. This was
followed by a full-day Investor Education Training conducted
by Naeem Zafar, o昀昀ering a practical introduction to angel
investing, portfolio construction, founder engagement, and
common red 昀氀ags when assessing start-ups. Together, these
sessions equipped participants with the con昀椀dence to engage
meaningfully with early-stage ventures, reinforcing LCE’s role
as a bridge between founders and the investor community.
